soundproof
i find that using the foam out of old seats to pack the inside of 1/4 panels makes road noise a lot less noticable,we used to do this on ply lined vans and the improvement when driving them was immense for such a cheap fix

A few mot jobs.
getting there slowly but surely, keep finding more holes that need patching but hopefully it wont be much longer now. should be sprayed by the end of the month to look like the attached picture. The seats are taking longer than expected to re-cover, but i would reccomend it to others (just take your time and measure twice-cut once.) plus you get the colour you want and it's not too expensive, about £60 including some new foam. I'll try to keep you updated as she goes back together....

origionally bought for my partner nearly 6 years ago, the 1984 mini city was starting to look a little rough round the edges. I noticed a few mot jobs that needed doing and now 8 months later i'm knee deep in rust and paint scrapings, however with some primer going back on the end seems to be a little closer. Just got to keep looking for the fiddly bits that were missing when i started and hope for the best. As if doing the shell wasn't enough i also decided to re-foam and upholster the seats which were purchased some 5 years ago from mini in the park, if you haven't been you don't know what your missing out on... i'm hoping the build doesn't take much longer as i really miss driving her.
